Photo was taken in Harpers Ferry in 2006. I thought at first it was my camera strap but my camera has a neck strap not a hand strap. |

5 | Copyright Rane 2004 - I was shopping one day this summer. I got done what I had to do so I decided to stop at this big Antiques Mall on the way home. I was like in Heaven the place was huge. To make a long story short... while I was there I kept seeing a man in what I saw as a long black double breasted saliors jacket our of the corner of my eye. I feel he did not want to harm me, but I knew he wanted my attention for some reason but I couldnt pick up on what though. Unfortunetly I did not have my camera with me or I would have been taking pics but I didnt plan on stopping there. I do know he he was an older man like in his late 40s or early 50s. I looked for the coat all around the side of the store I kept seeing him in but I didnt find one. Although, I knew it must be there. I looked so long that someone came up and told me they were closing. When the person walked away I quietly told the "Captain" (that is what I dubed him) that I would be back to find the coat. I left and didnt get to return for a few weeks. But I knew if I didnt go back soon that this would bother me till I did. |

5 | Copyright Rane 2004 - However...when I did get back I brought my camera and a little help from my adopted son Wayne. I told my Mother and Wayne the story and Wayne told me he would go back with me and help look. We got there around noon and I showed Wayne where it was I saw "Captain", he looked in this one spot while I looked farther down. We were looking for about an hour, I was about ready to give up when I heard Wayne yell for me. He asked me if this was the kind of coat I was looking for...I almost broke down in tears for some reason...it was the exact same type of coat. There were two of them but I only saw "Captain" wearing the long one. The reason I could not find the coat was because as you can see the coat was in a small section in side area behind everything, they were faceing what looked like the trash area. I took three pics, one had no orb but the other two did, unfortunetly the other one is too blurry to waste pic space here. You know I still do not know what "Captain" wanted me to know but I have a strong suspition that he was upset about his coat or coats (I dont now if the other one was his) were not out where someone could find and buy them, or that they were going to accidently get lost in the trash and get thrown out. I personally would have loved to had the long black one but it was too much for my pocket book. Wayne and I took the coats up to the front of the sellers section and left them there where everyone could see them. After we put them there and drove home I told Wayne that I felt like "Captain" would be thanking us about now...needless to say I didnt worry about the coat after that. |
